Tea By The Cup
Less potent than an infusion, yet, still effective and readily consumable. Place a coffee scoop of herb mix (approx. 2 T) in a tea strainer for every cup (8oz.) of tea. Pour boiling water over the herbs and steep for about 10-20 minutes.
Infusions
Preferred for maximum water extraction of the medicinal properties. Place a full handfull of herb mix into the bottom of a quart size jar. Fill with boiling water, stir to soak all of the herb mix, and cover. Let this steep, at room temperature, for 4-8 hours or overnight. Strain off the tea and drink. Refrigerate the remainder and reheat as needed. Feel free to add honey, milk, or anything you like to taste. A french press coffee maker also works well. Drink 2-3 cups a day.
